CV / Dr. Aiste Kernen-Gintaute

Dr. Aiste Kernen-Gintaute is a Board Certified Prosthodontist by the Swiss Society of
Reconstructive Dentistry and an Assistant Professor at University of Freiburg, Germany,

Department of Prosthodontics, as well as Visiting Professor at University of Basel, Switzerland,

Department of Reconstructive Dentistry. She graduated from Kaunas University of Medicine,

Faculty of Odontology in Lithuania and completed her training in Prosthodontics at University
of Freiburg, where she also received her title of Doctor of Dental Medicine. She serves as a
Board Examiner for the Swiss Society of Reconstructive Dentistry and devotes her professional
time to clinical practice, teaching and research. Her main interests are functionally and
esthetically driven dental rehabilitations, as well as digital treatment concepts.
